Love Listen and Play Counseling Center – Website Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 22, 2026
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Love Listen and Play Counseling Center (“Love Listen and Play,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the privacy of visitors to our website, https://www.lovelistenandplay.com (the “website”). This policy explains what information the website collects, how we use it, who receives it, and the choices you have.
This policy covers the website only. It does not replace our Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs health information we receive as part of providing counseling services.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. Our contact and newsletter forms ask for some or all of the following:
- your name, email address and phone number
- the best time to reach you
- your preferred office or online sessions
- the type of counseling you are interested in
- whether you plan to use insurance
- how you heard about us
- any message you choose to write
If you agree, we also record your consent to receive text messages.
Please do not include clinical, medical or mental-health details, or information about a child’s treatment, in a website form. We collect those details through our secure intake process.
Information collected automatically. Like all websites, our web server and security services receive basic technical information when you visit:
- your IP address
- browser and device type
- the page requested
- the date and time of the request
This information is used only to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on the website.
2. How we use information
We use website information to:
- respond to inquiries and schedule consultations
- send our newsletter, if you sign up
- send appointment-related text messages, and marketing messages only if you separately agree
- keep the website working and secure
- meet our legal obligations
We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles.
3. Cookies and tracking
The website does not use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, or any other analytics or advertising technology.
The only cookies are:
- cookies that are strictly necessary for the website and its security to work
- cookies set by our embedded form provider within the contact and newsletter forms (see Section 4), which it uses to operate the form
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although the forms may then not work.
Embedded forms. Our contact and newsletter forms are provided by LeadConnector (GoHighLevel) through MyTherapyFlow. To display them, the provider’s script loads on pages where a form appears and may record the page you are on and basic device information, even if you do not submit the form. The forms also load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser information when a form is displayed.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we do not use tracking technologies, there is no tracking for these signals to turn off. We honor them by default.
Maps. Our location is shown as an address with a link to Google Maps. Google receives information about you only if you click that link.
4. Who receives information
We share website information only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you:
- Forms, newsletter and messaging: LeadConnector LLC (GoHighLevel), provided to us through MyTherapyFlow. Information you submit through our forms is stored in our account with this provider and used to contact you. Our contact form is provided through Therapy Flow (Hone, Inc.), which has signed a Business Associate Agreement with us.
- Website hosting, maintenance and security: Barragan Media (website developer and host) and Cloudflare, Inc. (content delivery and security). They process technical information to deliver and protect the website. Form submissions go directly to our form provider and are not stored on our web server.
- Fonts: Google LLC (Google Fonts), which provides the fonts used inside our embedded forms.
- Legal: government authorities or other parties when required by law.
5. Sensitive information and counseling services
We provide mental-health services, and we recognize that even an inquiry about counseling can be sensitive. The website is not a patient portal, a clinical record or an emergency channel. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or call 911.
Information we receive once you become a client is protected under applicable federal and California law and is described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices.
6. Data retention
We keep inquiry and newsletter information only as long as it is needed to respond to you, provide services you request, or meet our legal obligations. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter or text messages at any time. Clinical records follow separate retention rules.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including:
- encrypted (HTTPS) connections
- a web application firewall
- restricted administrator access
- regular software updates
No website or transmission is completely secure, so please do not send clinical details through website forms.
8. California privacy rights
California residents may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about them
- request correction or deletion of it
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell or share personal information.
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Children’s privacy
We provide counseling to children, teens and adults. The website itself is intended for adults, including parents and guardians. Children should not submit information through the website without a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has done so, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party sites
The website links to services operated by others, such as Google Maps and social media. Their own privacy policies apply once you follow those links.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
